Neurodiagnostics Medical P.C. is Hiring a Remote Medical Assistant
Practice a Neurology, Physical Medicine, ad Orthopedics Practice with multiple locations in Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Long Island; and Opportunities for telehealth/remote work.
About the Job:
- Seeking to hire a Physician Extender who will be responsible for assisting with clinical work and seeing patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, and ability to write consultation notes and complete charts.
- 6 days of clinic per month; 4 days of work from home.
- Clinical hours are: 9AM - 6PM.
- There are Multiple Clinic Locations. This position only requires covering the following 3 locations:
- 175-43 Hillside Avenue, Suite 1A Jamaica Estates, NY 11432
- 2001 Marcus Avenue, Suite W170. Lake Success, NY 11042
- 1570 Old Country Road, 2nd Fl. Westbury NY 11570
- Seeing consults and follow ups.
- Obtaining and recording patient medical histories, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including completing paperwork for patients requested by insurance/their work/etc.
- Finishing all clinical notes with accuracy.
- Helping with patient call backs and developing treatment plans.
- Highly motivated
- Willingness to learn
- Speed with documentation and history taking
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent writing skills
- Must be comfortable with EMR.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
- Prior experience with taking a medical history, scribing encounters efficiently, and completing medical documentation/paperwork is preferred.
- Must be legally allowed to work in NYS (e.g. active work visa, or US citizen, etc.)
We offer a competitive salary with a yearly increase and a production bonus. We do not offer a benefits package or a health insurance coverage.
